Dreams

Maliah woke up early this morning – which is rare for her, because she usually stays up later than Miah, Also rare, she woke up in good spirits. She started rattling on about something, and I decided to slow her down and see what she was trying to tell me.

I finally realized that she was trying to relate to me a dream. This was the first time that  she has even admitted that she had a dream, let alone recalling one.

From what I gathered, the dream was actually a little disturbing. She said “that I was working on the computer and the guy came up to me, and I jumped in the car and drove away,”

Now, she knows that I work on computers, but the situation seemed to describe me working on one of the business machines that I service and maintain. Let’s just say that I’m out at all times of night, servicing 24 hour business concerns, like gas stations and convenience stores when they lose contact with their servers and can’t accept ATM transactions.

Occasionally I encounter ner-do-wells, seeking an advantage, hoping to get a couple of bucks the old fashioned way. Actually it would be a waste of their time, because the Police would be on me and them, the minute I use my codes out of sequence. Anyway, my babies dream caused me to keep a more diligent eye on surroundings – just in case she’s a prophet or a sooth-sayer.

Sweet Dreams itty-bitty.
